OEM Car Subscriptions
An OEM Car Subscription is a program that is offered directly from the manufacturer, the most popular one from our website is currently Care by Volvo, this is of course operated by Volvo Cars online and through their network of dealerships up and down the UK, but there are other subscription providers:
Genesis: Flexibility
Whilst already operating in North America, Genesis is a new premium car brand in the UK from Hyundai. Their Car Subscription service is called “Flexibility” – Offering 18-month contracts with the ability to hand the car back after 6 months with no early termination charges.
Unlike many of the other OEM subscription services, insurance is not included and you will need to provide this yourself and the cars are pretty new to the market, so we’d suggest reading a few car reviews to make sure they fit in with your requirements.
Hyundai: Mocean
Mocean is the car subscription offering from Hyundai, similar to their premium brand Genesis, the scheme allows you to subscribe to a Hyundai car from 3-months to 24-months on a great range of cars including the Hyundai i10 up to the Hyundai Ioniq Electric Car.
At the moment the subscription model is focused on 6 London dealerships, but there is rumours that this will get extended nationally in the not-to-distant future. Insurance can be included in their deals, with an excess fee.
Jaguar Land Rover: Pivotal
With the original name of Carpe, JLR relaunched their subscription scheme called Pivoltal in 2020. Based on a 90 day minimum term they offer a range of tiers, depending on what level of vehicle you want.
Offering Brand New or vehicles no older than 12 months, you will get a fresh car every 6-months. Insurance is included but the subscription is not open to anyone under 28 years old. All the essentials are included along with insurance for 2 drivers as standard.
Volvo: Care by Volvo
One of the best OEM car subscriptions in the UK, is by far Care by Volvo. Customers are able to choose from a wide range of pre-built or build-to-order Volvo’s and opt for a 3-month or 36-month subscription program.
Volvo do not charge any signup fees or documentation charges and the process can be done either online or via their network of car dealers in the UK.
