Evogo, Based at their large 74,000sqft storage, PDI/service and delivery and de-fleet hub, in Sheffield, 3 minutes off the M1. Evogo has a large fleet of subscription vehicles offering both new and nearly new vehicles from the likes of Audi, Nissan, DS, Hyundai, Kia, Land Rover and Volkswagen.

Evogo’s contracts are based on either an 89-day basis, which upon request and a new e-sign agreement, can be renewed. This is usually twice before having to swap the vehicle for another, or more traditional 6-9-12 month lease agreements are widely available. All of the usual vehicle subscription elements are included; Maintenance and servicing, Warranty, Roadside Assistance and Road Fund Licence.

Evogo also offers a part-exchange service where they allow you to trade your old car in, this is thanks to their on-site retail partner Mike Brewer Motors.

How it Works

To signup for an Evogo Vehicle Subscription, you must submit an enquiry to the team where they will send you an application form the complete. This can take around 48 to 72 hours to assess your application, request any additional information and then give you a recommended credit limit.

All paperwork is conducted digitally for the transfer of proofs and a secure e-sign module.

The first vehicle that is taken from EVOGO must be collected from their site at Sheffield. All future vehicles can be delivered/collected for a pence per mileage charge.

The cost of the subscription includes maintenance, servicing, breakdown assistance and road fund licence. Customers must provide their own fully comprehensive insurance and provide proof prior to collection.

At the end of the 89-day subscription, Subject to the customer wishing to, they have the option to renew and re-sign a new contract for another 89 days. You will usually be allowed to keep the vehicle for 2x 89-day contract periods before the car must be returned. Customers looking for a longer term than 89days, Evogo also offer 6-9-12mth lease agreements. Evogo and renowned for the flexibility and convenience of their agreements, that traditionally others are unable to offer.

Costs and Fees

With a dynamic website, customers can easily tailor make, model, milage and term to meet budgetary requirements

On the 89 day agreements, the initial payment is non-refundable and will be equivalent to 1.5 months of the monthly subscription cost. (eg. a car costing £690 per month, will have a non-refundable initial rental of £1035, the vehicle will then be £690 thereafter.)

Longer term agreements, have 3 payments upfront followed by 11mths as an example.

As per many of the other subscription and leasing companies, should you receive a speeding ticket or penalty charge notice, you will be liable for administration fee’s to process such charges.

There may also be a charge to collect the vehicle at the end of the contract or alternatively just drop it back off in Sheffield.

At the end of the term, it may also be possible to purchase your vehicle via their subsidiary company, Mike Brewer Motors. All of the vehicles that go on to their subscription fleet are sold on by EVOGO via their dealerships. Their Hybrid and electric vehicle range is also growing rapidly.

Evogo are known to have some of the most competitive car subscription pricing in the UK since Cazoo exited the market. They can do this due to the unique way in which they are setup;

  • Evogo purchase the vehicles directly from the manufacturers with sizeable discounts
  • They fund the vehicles themselves
  • They also carry out their own administration of their vehicle subscriptions and contracts.
  • At the end of the contract, Evogo has the ability to de-fleet and refurbish the cars in-house keeping down their costs.
  • Evogo then remarket their own vehicles via the Mike Brewer Motors dealerships

Using this unique setup, they are able to retain more of the vehicles profit and pass this on to the end-users in subscription prices.

Their part exchange service is also quite unique in this sector, with the ability to trade in your current car makes this a real one-stop shop.

With a wide range of available cars on site, with new stock arriving weekly, Evogo is an excellent option for those who don’t want long term vehicle agreements, but who want the flexibility and convenience of swapping their car yearly without having the perceived hassle and depreciation risk and maintenance/servicing costs of car ownership

I’ve leased cars from evogo for about 8 years now just for the convenience of it. The agreement means there’s no shock bills with a part failing or something needing replacing as cars are generally brand new and resolved within 12 months or so. When you look at the monthly cost it can be a shock as it seems much dearer than other agreements but if you work out the costs over 3 or 4 years I think it will be similar. The handover used to take ages but the last time I did it it was really quick. All the paperwork was sorted out online before I went and I just collected the new keys and drove away. The staff are always nice to deal with.

I started a subscription with Evogo for 3 months beginning July. The staff handling my case was Lewis Fox. I was connected with Evogo via Wagonex, a hub for vehicle subscription companies. Throughout the process, minor issues popped up that could have become far worse were it not for the professionalism of Lewis and the adaptability of Evogo, the company, to accommodate my issues. From the outset, they went out of the way to make the process successful. In the event, my original vehicle was upgraded at no extra cost. I travelled to collect it and the approximate mileage was added to the contract.
